It’s becoming harder and harder find a good steel guitar player. They’re a dying breed. And yet, there is no other sound quite like it. A steel guitar and a good fiddle are what make a band distinctively “Country.”
Terry Day has been playing steel guitar around north-eastern Oklahoma for over thirty years. Known as “Steelman” by his friends, Terry’s range of music experience is not limited to country music. In fact, the steel guitar fits in with just about any kind of musical ensemble setting, including popular, gospel and praise bands, bluegrass, and yes, Western Swing.
Terry plays all over the state of Oklahoma with just about any gathering of musicians who will feed him and pay for his gas; well maybe there is just a bit more to it than that. Call or email today for details. Have steel guitar - will travel.
